On January 7, 2012 between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm, We had to put my dog to sleep, I miss her so much. The vet said that it was probably because of a tumor in the liver. In her last moments, I knew it was time to let go. She was on her side and could barely move and barely respond... I sat there, crying on the phone with my friend while I petted her and told her everything was going to be ok. I once promised myself when the time came I would be there with her till her very last breath. But my dad told me he wanted to go alone. My friend told it's probably better if my last memory of her was when she was alive. She's probably right, but I still kinda wish I went. Before he took her to the car, I lay down by her and kissed her and told her how much I loved her, my little fuzzball.
Her death is really hard on me... I probably should've waited before writing this because I already started crying again.. but I needed to write this. I'm going to miss going to school and her greeting me every morning and how I kiss her wittle nose or fore head. How I return from school and we greet eachother. I'm going to miss hugging her fuzzy body and her returning the favor by pushing into me or licking my face. I'm going to miss petting her soft head, and stroking her even softer ears. I'm going to miss looking out the back yard window and seeing her chilling on her pillow just casually observing. How she barked at other dogs to stay off her territory. The dirt on her nose after she buried or unburied her bones. Seeing her sniff/sense something underground and how she pawed at the ground. How (when she was younger) would go crazy trying to kill bees, she would jump around like crazy. When Misia still had the energy, if we got her hyped up enough, she would zoom across our front yard and backyard back and forth and top speed like as if she was high off of life. I'm going to miss going on camping trips with her, she even went on our California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho+more road trip, and our three week Alaska road trip! (which Mysia and her dog went on too!)
Memories:
1. A couple of years ago when we went to Poland and later came back, our friend told us about how Misia went to their neighbors house and stole their steak right off the barbeque, apparently they don't know about it either lmao!
2. When I lived at my old house, I was playing with Misia outside and then she ran into my neighbors house INTO HIS FREAKING HOUSE and ran out with a chicken! I was told recently that apparently she has done this on more than one occasion!
3. We had our family friends over and one of them was walking around with a sausage in his hand. My dad heard him cussing all of a sudden and ran out to see what happened. Turned out my dog snuck up right behind him and took it and ran for it!
4. When my brother and I were younger we used to play with her by teasing her until she would start nibbling us.. we would be on the ground laughing and she wouldn't stop lol :) my little fuzzball...
5. When we were camping, and went canoeing, we saw from a distance through the lake plants, and bushes that our neighboring campers have left so we paddled over there and yelled for my mom to come. She came with Misia. I decided to get off there and my dad and brother paddled off back to the lake. Later on, I was reading and occasionally checking up on Misia, but then I got really into my book. I then checked up on her and saw her collar attached to her chain. I started panicking OMG SHE'S GONE so I ran out searching for her but then I immediately saw that she was in the other campsite again. Her paws were wet and she kept looking out towards the lake! Poor thing, she was trying to find my dad and brother! But she was happy when they came back later!
6. There was this giant plant that used to be in our backyard, my dog made her own cave back there! :)
7. When I was sitting in this gas powered cart thing with her and I wrapped the whole leash around my arm, and in that exact moment my mom came up with a bone for her, so my dog jumped out with me flying behind her (she was a young, strong dog then and I was a kindergartner or 1st grader lol) and I broke my thumb. My backyard was kinda like a hill, and in the middle part was surround by bricks so I hit myself against them, lol.
8. My old house had a forest behind it, so Misia and I always went on our adventures together, exploring, playing, just enjoying life..
Will continue with more memories later, and also any comments about your own dog, like memories or how you went through their death, or a currently living dog, just anything, are greatly appreciated :)
Just a blog about our opinions and things that are going on in our life and anything else that pops into our mind! :)
