World Peace
This is something that has been troubling me lately... our world is super far from anything peaceful.. I'm trying to be optimistic, because even though a couple of people told me that they think we're going to have a World War III, I still believe there's a chance that we won't! We always think about the weapons other countries are building, whether they're going to aim it at us or whatever... but honestly when you think about, I highly doubt those people want a war, any more than we do. Life would just be so much better without weapons in peace and harmony.. but someone out there has to go and screw it up for everyone else.. the thing is if a war starts... well life as we know it is over.. with all the bombs in our world we're just really f**ked. But I'm still praying that it will never happen.

I don't think anyone actually WANTS a war, it's just that there's so much competition and fighting for the top... weapons are used as a means of settling because no one just wants to give in through negotiation because they're bitches. And it's also about intimidation, which is terrifying. North Korea doesn't want a world war, but they still parade nuclear arms through the capital every week (like actually) as means of intimidation... I mean technically that's the reason we bombed Japan, which was absolutely horrific... so I fear that as a motive. But you're right, hopefully people will actually realize how terrible those things are before they use them, and will have enough sense to not start full-on nuclear war, we have to be sensible enough to freaking maintain ourselves as a surviving species :p I admire your optimism...
